Celebrations of Life
Losing someone you love can be overwhelming, painful, and deeply unsettling. At such an emotional time, many families feel drawn to familiar traditions, often without realising that a funeral or memorial can be shaped to truly reflect the person they are saying goodbye to..
As an Independent Celebrant, I offer you the freedom to create a ceremony that is personal, meaningful, and true to your loved one’s life. Together, we can include music, readings, poems, photographs, video tributes, or any special elements that reflect who they were, what mattered to them, and the impact they had on those around them.

Funerals
Saying goodbye to someone you love is deeply personal, and there is no right or wrong way to do it. Every family and every story is different. Some people choose a traditional funeral, while others prefer a celebration of life. Both are meaningful ways to honour a life, and I’m here to guide you gently through whichever feels right for you.
A funeral is usually held soon after a passing and provides a quiet space to gather, reflect, and support one another. It can be religious or non-religious, traditional or modern, and may include readings, music, eulogies, or cultural rituals. While the tone is often more reflective, funerals can still feel warm, personal, and comforting. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that honours your loved one in a way that feels respectful and true to who they were.

Celebration of life
A celebration of life focuses on remembering how your loved one lived. These ceremonies are often lighter in tone and can include storytelling, favourite music, photos, and personal touches that reflect their personality. Celebrations of life may be held weeks or months later and tend to feel more relaxed and informal, allowing space for both laughter and connection.
Whichever path you choose, I’ll be there to support you every step of the way. My role is to make the process feel simple, calm, and organised, so you can focus on remembering and honouring your loved one in a way that feels right for you and your family.
I take the time to listen carefully to your memories, your thoughts, and what you want to say. From these, I gently bring everything together into a ceremony that feels authentic and heartfelt. When emotions are high and words are hard to find, I provide a calm, steady, and compassionate presence giving voice to your feelings with care and professionalism, so you can say goodbye in a way that feels right for you and your family.

Saying Goodbye to your Beloved Pet
As a pet funeral celebrant, my role is to help families say goodbye to their beloved pets in a warm, gentle, and meaningful way. I lead memorials that give people the space to remember, share stories, and reflect on the special bond they had with their pet. Whether it’s a simple farewell or a ceremony for the burial of ashes, I guide the moment with care and understanding, focusing on the love, companionship, and joy the pet brought into their lives. My aim is to make the goodbye feel personal and comforting, helping families find peace while honoring a truly cherished companion.
