Is a Celebrant Wedding Religious?
Your ceremony can include as much or as little religious or spiritual content that feels right for you.
Whether it is a prayer, a blessing, a reading from the scripture or simply a quiet moment of reflection I can weave these elements in naturally and respectfully.
My aim is always to create a ceremony that feels authentic to your beliefs and values.
The Legal Bit
In England and Wales currently you still need to have a legal ceremony if you want to be married. This can be done prior to your wedding at a local registrar office.

Including rituals in your wedding ceremony can be a beautiful way to honour heritage, reflect shared values, and create moments rich with meaning and emotion. Thoughtfully chosen rituals bring intention and symbolism to the ceremony, transforming it into something deeply personal and memorable.
As your celebrant, I can incorporate any ritual you feel drawn to from lighting a unity candle or sharing a hand-fasting, to creating something entirely unique to you. I take the time to get to know you both, listening to your story and guiding you as you choose or design rituals that feel authentic, meaningful, and truly reflective of your relationship.
Standard Wedding Package £550
The standard wedding package includes :

An initial meeting, either in person or via Zoom.

A couples questionnaire, to help me learn a bit more about you both.

A draft ceremony script, which we will review together and I can make any changes

A final ceremony script provided to you in advance so you feel prepared.

I will liaise with your chosen venue and wedding planner if you have one, prior to the day.

On the day - I will arrive at least one hour in advance. (If you are available we will briefly meet) I will liaise with other wedding professionals to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Then the very best bit , I will lead your beautiful ceremony.

Travel is free within a 25 mile radius of Monmouth and is charged 45p per mile thereafter.
Gold Wedding Package £700
The Gold wedding package includes :

An initial meeting, either in person or via Zoom.

A couples questionnaire, to help me learn a bit more about you both.

A wedding ritual will be discussed and included in your ceremony, some examples are - hand fasting, ring warming, candle lighting, however there are lots more available that you can choose from. and I am always willing to include any that are particularly meaningful to you and your family.

A draft ceremony script, which we will review together and I can make any changes (up to 5 reviews).

A final ceremony script provided to you in advance so you feel prepared.

I will liaise with your chosen venue and wedding planner, if you have one, prior to the day.

A rehearsal of the ceremony with family and friends at a date convenient for you.

On the day - I will arrive at least one hour in advance. (If you are available we will briefly meet) I will liaise with other wedding professionals to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Then the very best bit , I will lead your beautiful ceremony.

You will be provided with a printed keepsake copy of your ceremony.
