Visual Immersion

This is a new direction for me, as a photographer surprisingly I usually avoid being the subject of a photograph. In these images I have used my images and projected them into a space where I have included myself. The distortion of the image around my figure alludes to the metaphysical comfort blanket that surrounds me when I am at the river. The black silhouette of my profile provides a gap in the projection, the void I feel when not in the natural environment
